Dushanbe, March 2./ Tass /. The election in the House of Representatives, legislative agencies of regions, cities, districts and villages will be held in Tajikistan.
Voting is organized according to the mixed system: 41 delegates will be selected from single districts, 22 others – according to the list of political parties. For 63 locations in the House of Representatives, 220 candidates will fight: 152 single (65 of them are themselves), the rest is from political parties. In the unified community area, 68 candidates were nominated at parties.
The largest candidate group – 80 people – went to the Election from the Democratic Party of Tajikistan (NDPT) of the ruling people, the leader of Emomali Rahmon. Elections also participate in agricultural, democratic, communist, socialist and economic reform party. The opposing social Democratic Party did not nominate his candidates.

The process of voting and summarizing
On Sunday from 06:00 to 20:00 local time (from 04:00 to 18:00 Moscow time), 3,513 voting stations will be opened in the territory of the Republic, 36 other locations will be valid for foreign representatives of Tajikistan in 28 countries, at the Embassy, at Noven
According to the Tajikistan Tajikistan's Election and Traditional Election Committee (CCVR), about 5.5 million citizens of the country to the age of 18 will be able to vote. Observe the elections
According to the Central Committee of CCVR, on the date of voting in the lots, there will be more than 10,000 national observers representing the six Republican parties and candidates for the National Assembly in single districts.
In addition, Tajikistan sent an invitation to 26 countries, as well as international organizations to observe the elections. On February 4, the Department of Democratic Organization and Human Rights of the Security and Cooperation Organization in Europe (OSCE OSCE BDC) announced that they would not be supervised by the National Assembly elections in Tajikistan, because, as stated, it did not receive any guarantee for recognizing less than the observers less than a month ago.
After that, the Foreign Ministry of the Sirodzhiddin Mukhriddin said that the absence of observers from BDIPC would not affect the transparency of the election. According to him, OSCE representatives did not comply with the established procedures and the time limit for reviewing applications to recognize international observers, then they left Tajikistan.
On February 28, in an interview with journalists, the tasks of observers from the common prosperity of independent states, the first Deputy Secretary General Leonid Anfimov announced that international observers did not receive complaints and comment on the organization preparing for the election. He also emphasized that the whole process takes place “in a standard, working and merciful regime and with an organization that is well prepared for the main voting date”.
205 representatives of the media are also recognized to include elections in the Ministry of Home Affairs, including more than 20 from foreign media.
The previous election
Previous elections for both Tajikistan National Assembly's rooms were held in March 2020. The participation of voters in the election to the House of Representatives then reached 86.4%.
