Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan have approved the basic conditions for the common use of Chashma spring on the border, providing free access to water for residents of both countries.
A joint meeting of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan government delegations on border issues were held at Tashkent, RIA Novosti. The Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdullah Aripov and Kamchybek's Deputy Head of Kamchybek Tashiev agreed with a description of the border's path, leaving Chashma's spring in Kyrgyzstan's territory with common use conditions.
The message emphasizes that Uzbekistan citizens will provide free access in the spring and the Uzbek side will be able to use two parts of the water mass. Kyrgyzstan should coordinate any action that can affect the volume and quality of water with Uzbekistan.
The agreement stipulates the quick signing of the common use of Chashma, as well as approving the contract on a specific part of the border between countries, within the Cabinet of Uzbek.
As the newspaper wrote, the presidents of Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan signed an agreement on the border junction of the three countries in Khujand, and also ended the declaration of Khudzhand about eternal friendship.
