Huawei introduced Ekitstor Xtreme 116P – its first U.2 SSD with PCIe 5.0 interface and QLC memory, designed for the company's storage systems.

The new SSD focuses on traditional HDD replacement in data processing centers. The supplier promises 2.4 times higher performance, double the capacity and saves 50% space with the same ownership cost.
Formal element U.2 (2.5 inch) allows you to use the device in highly located servers. Although Huawei called Xtreme 116P the first SSD in the world of this category, in fact, it competes with SK Hynix Solidigm PS1012, represented by SK Hynix Solidigm with a volume of 61 TB.
The company has also announced a safe Ekitstor Shield 200 SSD with a speed of up to 2 GB/S and Dorado 2020 Oceantor Dorado storage system for small and medium -sized businesses. Later promises to increase efficiency up to 80 times compared to hybrid solutions.
