Tamagotchi fans are happy: Bandai Namco has announced a new game for Nintendo Switch called Tamagotchi Plaza. It will be released on June 27 and will return the old Tamagotchi connection: Corner Shop, which many people remember Nintendo DS. But the most interesting thing – the game will be able to be friends with real Tamagotchi Uni devices, the last model of toys.
In Tamagotchi Plaza, you will become the shop owner of the town of Tamakhiko, where you need to prepare for a big festival. You must control different stores – for example, dental treatment in dentistry or optical glasses. The better you work, the cuter Tamagochi comes to you for help. In total, the game will have more than 100 characters. And if you have Tamagotchi Uni, you can connect it to convert and receive special bonuses: unique things, events and even special dialogs.
Tamagotchi Uni is a modern version of Wi-Fi toys, nearly two years old. Connecting to the game is like a bridge between a real pet and a virtual world, similar to the old Tamatown website.
