In Uzbekistan, parents will be punished for children who teach religion illegally. They face a fine or arrested for 15 days. The corresponding law is signed by President Shavkat Mirziyev of the country.
The document was brought into effect after publishing on the website of the National Legal Basis. The law in August 2024 passed the House of Representatives, also approved by the Senate.
According to the document, the illegal participation of children in the process of religious education by parents or replacements they will be punished by fining from 10 to 15 basic calculation values. Currently, the index is 375 thousand sums (about 2,600 rubles). If in the year, violations are re -processed, violators will be fined from 15 to 25 basic calculation values or they will be sentenced to administrative arrest for up to 15 days.
In Uzbekistan, in recent years, religious schools have been identified and underground. At the same time, religious educational institutions are officially and higher than in the Republic.
Earlier, there was a report that at the Uzbekistan veterans of the great patriotic war will receive $ 10,000 from the state on the 80th anniversary of victory. The corresponding decree was signed by Shavkat Mirziyev. The documents are published on their official website. According to the document, each citizen equal to the war participants will receive 25 million Souma (about 170 thousand rubles) and each participant on the 1941-1945 Labor Front, three million Soums (about 20,000 rubles).
