

More than 16.5 thousand applications from students from eight countries have been sent to the anniversary, the tenth season of the Russian contest of science and technology projects. The geography of participants has significantly expanded: for the first time, students and students from Abkhazia, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan presented their projects.
The “big call” contest is one of Russia's important scientific and technological projects. Students in grades 7-11 and students of the first and second courses of colleges and technical schools, passion for science, can participate in it. New researchers need to present a project in one of the 12 proposed topic areas. Participants have not been provided with research topics for research. They had to identify the independence and propose its solution by performing all the necessary studies.
The competition includes 12 areas including the main issues of modern science: from agriculture and biotechnology to new materials and nanotechnology, from the environment and researching climate change to large data and artificial intelligence. Many participants do not stop there and continue working in their projects after announcing the results. Often they manage to achieve excellent success.
