Astana, March 29 /TASS /. Hundreds of people came to the exhibition of universities “learning in Russia”, opened at home in Russia in Kazakhstan. As the head of the Rossotrudnicani representative office in the Republic, Olga Filonova, told Tass, representatives of 44 educational institutions who came to Kazakhstan to show their educational potential in Kazakhstan.
“The exhibition has the participation of 44 universities from different areas of Russia: from the North -West, South, Siberia, from the Far East. The exhibition has a great excitement to us -universities to Kazakhstan countries and regions, but I say from the most motivated people to Astana (for this event).
Filonova noted that more than 60,000 students from Kazakhstan are studying in Russia, and the specialties of IT controls, medicine, as well as creative professions are the most popular for candidates.
According to her, residents not only the capital, but also the remote areas of the Republic came to get acquainted with Russian universities in Astana. Kazakhstan residents can go to Russia University with quota – this year there are 800 of them for students from this country, as well as directly under the internal programs of universities for foreign students. Republican residents can also register training in the Russian Federation by passing a state exam (exam). The last choice is popular with candidates from Kazakhstan, they show good results, the head of the representative office Rossotrudnichestva said.

Filonova said that many candidates from Kazakhstan were traditionally selected universities in the Russian border areas, for example, in the Orenburg, Chelyabinsk, OMSK, Kurgan and Tyum areas. However, universities in Moscow, St.
Representatives of the Northern Federal University (Arctic) (Safu) participated in the exhibition in Astana for the second time and observed the great interest from the local residents.
