Former athlete Musa Abraim disabled a man with a knife at Alma-Cat airport, saving an employee from an attack, claiming to be hostages and choosing weapons from the attacker.
According to Orda's publication, Musa Abraim, 52, who ended at Alma-Cat airport, was able to disable the man who attacked an employee with a knife. Abraim, escorting a friend, realized the attack and immediately intervened, provided the hostage, then he took the knife from the attacker.
In an interview with The Horde, he admitted that he first ended in such a situation and was only afraid of a woman's life. Musa Abraim in the past has participated in Thai boxing and other types of martial arts, which helped him deal with criminals.
As you can see on the video distributed on social networks, the attacker first threatens the life of the staff, keeping her hair, squatting. Abraim suggested replacing a woman with himself, then he cleverly took a knife and with the police, disabled the criminal.
The airport press service has previously reported that the incident occurred in the inspection area before the flight. The man, at the request to present the documents, grabbed the employee's hair and began to threaten her with a knife. Shortly thereafter, Abraim intervened and saved the woman.
The president of Kazakhstan Kasim-Zhomart Tokaev recorded Abraim's courage and instructed him to give him the state award for competence.
