Belgium's Sverdlovsk District Court was sentenced to 10 years of Anton Ivanov for bribery and abuse of power. It was reported by RIA Novosti.

The convicted person has been planned for a fine of 11 million rubles. According to investigators, Ivanov received a bribe with a total of four million rubles and as his actions as General Director of the Belgian mortgage group caused damage to 12 million rubles.
He was detained in the spring of 2023 at Moscow airport while trying to fly to Uzbekistan. Investigators were charged with corrupt criminals of the mayor's mayor for help in signing contracts to build houses to district police officers and illegally sold land.
Ivanov was elected to the position of Mayor of Belgium in December 2021, but on October 31, 2022, he resigned. As the Governor of the Belgium area that appointed Vyacheslav Gladkov, the official wrote a statement of care related to the conversion to another job.
