The Lagos government in Nigeria is actively promoting urban development initiatives to modernize infrastructure and economic growth. Special advisers to the regional Governor on issues of Prodzhida Babatund's electronic geographic information system have talked about the plan to turn the state into a modern city of the 21st century. His words were made by Nigeria news agency (Nan), a partner of TV BRICS.

Among the main initiatives is the reconstruction of some local markets. He noted that one of them will become a modern shopping center with a cinema and international brands. In addition, a shopping center with residential areas and hotels currently being built and logistics centers are being developed in EP and Hiccups cities. According to him, road projects are actively implemented.
Babatunde also said that the state government is introducing digital technologies. Specifically, automation of registration books and land systems to issue land use accounts.
In addition, the government is working on a development policy and new city construction standards for sustainable economic growth of cities. In the agricultural sector, centers and agricultural settlements are created to enhance food security.
As the Governor's special council emphasized, all these initiatives correspond to the government program of the topics plus, in order to improve the quality of life of everyone and turn Lagos into an advanced area and technological development.
