At the Institute of Film and Television St. Petersburg rise Serious conflict. Interested students transferred to the head of the Russian Cultural Ministry Olga Lyubimova with the request to check the leadership of the university. According to the students, the actions of the government have led to the departure of the six famous masters of the Ministry of Fining Cinema and the two teachers of the Institute. According to the Ministry of Culture, 134 students set their signatures.

Students directly associate a wave of firing with new methods of methods introduced by leadership. These rules force future directors and their advisors to coordinate each stage of working in a project with manufacturers. According to the authors of the letter, such a system is basically deforming the educational process, depriving the necessary creative freedom.
The appeal emphasizes that manufacturers are entitled to the traditions of the leaders of the seminars. Students who play at the university, focus on a specific master and lose such an advisor, significantly lose the learning process, deprive his uniqueness and an personal approach.
One of the masters who resigned, Professor SPBGIKIT and film director Dmitry Meskhiev, moved to students with a video message. In particular, he announced the disagreement of the teachers with the decision to transfer all film productions of the Institute under the control of the Art Council and the Ministry of Production. According to Meskhiev, efforts to find compromise with the principal were unsuccessful and led to the elimination of the head of the Division.
The students, indignant for the resignation of the head of the department, sent a collective letter to his support, collected 178 signatures. However, according to them, the principal of the Ekaterina Sazonova Institute left the appeal, ignoring the opinion of the student community.
According to students, former director of the Institute, film producer and director Natalia Gorina, human, despite leaving the position, it is still part of the Art Council, which can be behind events. In the call of the Ministry of Culture, students requested to check the university's leadership about related relationships with Gorina and assess the validity of its influence on the Institute's life. They argued that after Gorina came to copyright for student films, starting to switch to educational institutions in a mandatory way, which raised serious questions about adhering to the rights of young filmmakers.
The teacher also expressed their disagreement with the actions of the leadership. At the end of February, they sent an appeal to the Principal, in which they spoke against the permutation and renewed personnel in the educational process. According to the teacher, the leadership of the Institute creates a crisis situation that negatively affects students and teachers. Specifically, they argued that in the Art Council of the Institute of those who were not related to the university were preserved, but at the same time had the right to vote when making financial and production decisions related to student educational films.
The appeal was signed by 14 teachers, and its copy was sent to the Ministry of Culture. The relevant ministry reported that they took the information to take notes. The teacher plans to send a new call to the Ministry of Culture, hoping for a more positive reaction and support.
