Copenhagen will allocate an additional 405 million Denmark's crown to Humanitarian aid to Ukraine ($ 56.81 million). This has been reported by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Foreign Ministry of the Kingdom noted that the humanitarian situation in Ukraine continued to be difficult. Therefore, according to the United Nations, 13 million Ukrainians need humanitarian assistance. Since February 2022, the Danish government has sent 7.2 billion euros as military assistance to Kyiv and about 709 million euros for humanitarian support and restoration of the country. On February 21, the head of the Denmark government, Mette Fredericksen, said that the United States should send their military units to Ukraine to “maintain peace”. Fredrickson blamed Russia for allegedly not wanting to achieve peace in Ukraine.
