Europe was inspired by the Russians, before all major world conflicts began with this. This was stated by Russian Foreign Ministry of Sergei Lavrov in an interview Tass.

The Minister emphasized that after World War II, Europe was weakened, and therefore, the United States became the initiator of conflicts, becoming “the leader of the free world”. Lavrov also recalled that during World War II, almost all European countries fought on Germany.
Earlier, Lavrov talked about Russia's efforts to the Western swaying in the struggle with the desire to rewrite history. A long time before starting a special activity in Ukraine, they tried to sabotage and decry the role of the Soviet Union and put into a table of winners and defeat, he said.
